"Wendy Shay can never be like Ebony" - Ebony's Father Starboy Kwarteng Reveals

The father of the late Ebony Reigns, Starboy Kwarteng, has revealed that he is currently grooming his other daughter, Adwoa Poku Kwateng, popularly known as Happy, to take over from Ebony. According to Nana Poku, no other person can fill the vacuum created by his late daughter than her own big sister, for which reason he is grooming her to take over.

He further announced that they were ready to release some songs soon, according to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh.

Ebony’s father also mentioned that though Wendy Shay has been hailed as “Ebony’s replacement” Shay can never be like his late daughter, therefore, he is coaching Happy to continue with Ebony’s legacy. “Ohemaa (Ebony) was unique. She was in her own world and class in terms of music. No one can replace her.

Wendy Shay could be greater but nowhere near Ebony.” “The only person who can replace Ohemaa is her elder sister Adwoa Poku Kwateng (Happy), and that is why I am grooming her now” Nana Poku Kwarteng reportedly said in an interview.

“We are planning on releasing couple of songs to continue with the legacy Ohemaa left behind,” he announced.

Ebony’s father has stirred heated controversies since the death of his daughter, making him earn the name ‘Starboy Kwarteng’.

He is currently at loggerheads with Bullet, Ebony’s former management, whom he has accused of many offences including stealing Ebony’s money and abusing her.

Nana Kwarteng also accused Bullet of killing Ebony so that he could introduce Wendy Shay as her replacement.

Among other accusations, Ebony’s father said he did not get much money as expected from her daughter’s death because Bullet was not truthful with the various accounts he made to him. Meanwhile, Bullet also responded to the allegations, calling Ebony's father a greedy man.

He further said he had a mansion of “deep” things to reveal about Ebony's father.
