World War Alert: US Gives North Korea Final Warning

US President Donald Trump U.S. Vice President Mike Pence on Monday warned North Korea not to test the resolve of the U.S. “or the strength of our military forces,” following a failed North Korean missile test. Speaking in Seoul, Pence linked recent U.S. military strikes in Syria and Afghanistan with the situation in Korea, saying they showed the “strength and resolve of our new president.” “We will defeat any attack and we will meet any use of conventional or nuclear weapons with an overwhelming and effective response,” Pence said, adding that when it came to North Korea “all options are on the table.” Tensions on the peninsula have ratcheted up in recent weeks, amid tit-for-tat saber-rattling from the U.S. and North Korea and analysts’ warnings that North Korea was preparing for a sixth nuclear test. Amid concerns the U.S. might launch a preemptive strike on North Korea, Pence said Washington would “closely consult” with Seoul “as we make decisions moving forward.” Earlier in the day,...

World War: You Are Looking for Serious Trouble - Donald Trump Warns North Korea

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday warned North Korea, saying the country is looking for “trouble”. Trump, on his Twitter handle, threatened to solve the North Korean problem alone should China fail to intervene. “North Korea is looking for trouble. If China decides to help, that would be great. If not, we will solve the problem without them! U.S.A.” Trump tweeted. The president added: “I explained to the President of China that a trade deal with the U.S. will be far better for them if they solve the North Korean problem!” The U.S. had last week, issued what seemed to be its “last warning” over North Korea’s continued launch of ballistic missiles that threaten the country and its allies-Japan and South Korea. The U.S. Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, in a statement on Tuesday, said the U.S. had spoken enough about North Korea and would speak no further on the issue. “North Korea launched yet another intermediate range ballistic missile. Tension has escalated sharply on the Korean peninsula, with talk of military action by the United States gaining traction following its strikes last week against Syria and amid concerns the reclusive North may soon conduct a sixth nuclear test. How President Buhari's Sins Caused Nigeria's Meningitis Outbreak

Perhaps the most outlandish thing I have heard this year, other than the fact that one set of President Buhari's aides told us he was not sick while another set simultaneously asked us to pray for his recovery, is the claim by the All Progressive Congress governor of  Zamfara state that the outbreak of meningitis in Nigeria is as a result of our sins. His exact words were as follows: “What we used to know as far as meningitis is concerned is the type A virus. The World Health Organization, WHO, has carried out vaccinations against this type A virus not just in Zamfara, but many other states. However, because people refused to stop their nefarious activities, God now decided to send Type C virus, which has no vaccination. People have turned away from God and he has promised that ‘if you do anyhow, you see anyhow’ that is just the cause of this outbreak as far as I am concerned. There is no way fornication will be so rampant and God will not send a disease that cannot be cured.” The ...

Do Christians Hate God? - Article of Faith

There is an unchanging truth that has come from my relationship with God: God does not like me. Somebody once asked the late wife of Billy Graham about her relationship with her husband. The person asked her: “Did you ever consider divorce?” “No,” she replied. “But I considered murder.” Martin Luther was struggling to obey the Ten Commandments. Somebody told him: “Why don’t you just concentrate on loving God instead.” Martin Luther fired back at him: “Love God? Sometimes I hate him.” At a time in my life, I hated my “old man” T.S.B. Aribisala passionately. When I look back now, I realize that I hated him without a cause. I hated him because I was sinful and rebellious. I hated him because he would not allow me to have my own way. David says something similar about his adversaries: “For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer. And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.” (Psalm 109:4-5). The same applies to Jesus, the Son of God. He says: “He...

I would not have to run around to make ends meet anymore". The child is still on admission at the Turai Umar Yar’Aadua Maternity and Ch...

Chinese Gov't Bans Long Beards and Veils in Muslim Dominated Region

China has banned "abnormal" beards and full-face coverings in the remote western region of Xinjiang as part of tighter "anti-extremism" regulations that also prohibit rejecting state media. Xinjiang is home to about 10 million Uighur Muslims, who have said they routinely face discrimination. Hundreds of people have died in recent years in the region due to unrest blamed by Beijing on "separatists", though rights groups say the violence is more a reaction to repressive Chinese policies. The new legislation took effect on Saturday and lists a wide range of restrictions, including rejecting or refusing "radio, television or other public facilities and services", marrying using religious rather than legal procedures and "using the name of Halal to meddle in secular life of others", according to Aljazeera news. The rules also ban not allowing children to attend government schools, not abiding by family planning policies, wearing robes that c...
